Invited Participant: Indian-French Joint Event on AI (SADC Region)
6 June 2026Participated in the by-invitation-only event titled “Building Bridges for Inclusive and Sustainable AI in Africa,” held at the French Embassy. Building directly on the global outcomes of the Paris AI Action Summit (2025) and the New Delhi AI Impact Summit (February 2026), this high-level event convened key SADC-wide stakeholders to shape cross-border cooperation, inclusive AI governance, and sustainable digital infrastructure. Our contributions emphasised human-centric AI governance and rights-respecting models protecting vulnerable groups.

1st Limpopo Public Sector 4IR, ICT & AI Summit 2026: Delivered strategic input during the thematic roundtable on “Cybersecurity and data privacy in the era of AI,” emphasizing local capacity building and data sovereignty.
Forward AI Summit (Tunisia): Contributed to high-level deliberations on “Governance, Trust & Digital Sovereignty” under the theme Shaping the Intelligence Future, advancing regional cooperation mechanisms aligned with AU Agenda 2063.
